This is a diagram to familiarize yourself with the
anatomy of our sling design.
Please click on a link to see the diagram or "way to wear" you are interested in. If baby is in the sling while making minor adjustments, please be sure to support baby's weight while adjusting the fabric through the rings.
These are video instructions of how to wear baby in the sling.

Newborn Carry with Receiving Blanket 0 - 3M
This is how to put your newborn baby into the sling
in a reclined position. Newborn
hold Movie Clip. This is also a movie to see
how to use a receiving blanket with the sling. This
is a method we highly recommend with newborn babies
(as you will see in the pictures below). We recommend
the receiving blanket because it will keep your
newborn in a proper position while in the sling.
Newborn in blanket
Movie Clip

To start. Always support baby's weight while adjusting fabric through the rings. While placing your baby in the sling
make sure to be swaying. You want to simulate
the womb. The swaying motion bring comfort to baby.
|

Place receiving blanket over baby.
|

Bring baby down in a cradle hold (in arms. Bring baby's knees up so the bum will go into the pocket firsts.
|

Bring the pocket around baby's bum.
|

Let baby's bum fall naturally into the pocket.
Hold the front of the pocket and gently bounce baby down into the pocket.
|

Pull the receiving blanket out and over the sling edge to keep the pocket open.
|

This is how the sling should look across your back. Nicely spread flat with no twisting.
|

This is your final result! The rings should still be sitting in the hollow of your shoulder cap so baby's head will not come in contact with the rings.

Tummy to Tummy Carry 3m - 14m
This is how to put your newborn baby into the sling in the Tummy to Tummy position.

To start. Legs usually stay in the pocket of the sling for young baby's, this will ensure maximum comfort for baby. Support baby's weight while adjusting the slings fabric through the rings. While placing your baby in the sling
make sure to be swaying. You want to simulate
the womb.
|

Put baby on hip and put baby's first leg into the pocket of the sling.
|

Put baby's back leg into the sling.
|

Bring the pocket fabric up baby's back for full support.
|

Now tighten the top rail to make sure the baby is nice and close to your body. Support baby's weight while adjusting fabric through the rings.
|

And this is your final result.

| Do's |
Don'ts |
Do make sure baby is all the way in the pocket of the sling. Walking around the room while lightly bouncing baby down into the pocket is very effective. |
DON'T have baby in the pocket to "squished up" (chin
to the chest). Instead place baby in a more up right position. For
newborns, using a receiving blanket works very well to give baby
good alignment. Please see above instructions
for further instruction and movie clips on how to use this
method.
|
DO hold your baby when you bend over. If you don't, your baby could fall out. |
DON'T cook or barbeque while your baby is in the sling. Remember that babies have a far reach. |
DO remember to use caution when you walk around corners and bend over your washing machine. |
DON'T leave your sling near an open fire. |
DO remember to look out for other people. Most of the time others don't realize you are wearing a baby, so heads up! |
DON'T wear your baby in the sling while doing aerobic exercise. |
DO check your sling regularly to make sure it's in tact (no rips or cuts) . |
DON'T use your Bundles sling in place of a car seat. |
DO always bend at the knees when wearing baby. |
DON'T wear your baby in your sling while riding a bicycle. |
DO hang your sling to dry. (If you put it in the dryer it may shrink.) |
DON'T force an older baby into the sling if baby is squirming. |
Last
but not least.. remember to always listen to your
intuition. You know best!
